2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need. This includes contact details such as your name, email, phone number, company and designation, the details you share when you subscribe to our updates, download content or apply for a role, including your CV, and messages you send us. For clients, vendors and employees, it also includes the information needed to manage our relationship with you, such as contract, billing, payment and employment details. When you visit our website, we also collect technical information automatically, such as your IP address, browser, device and how you use the site. Please do not send us financial account details or government ID numbers through our website forms.

3. How we use your information

We use personal data to respond to enquiries, deliver our services, manage client, vendor and employment relationships, consider job applications, send content and updates you have asked for, run, secure and improve our website, and meet our legal obligations. We do so with your consent, to perform a contract with you or take steps you have asked us to take, where we have a legitimate business interest that your rights do not override, or where the law requires it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

We do not sell your personal data or share it for targeted advertising, and we do not use it for automated decisions that significantly affect you.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies, some provided by third parties, to make the website work, keep it secure, and understand how visitors use it and how our communications perform. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies.

Where we ask for consent, you can change your choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.

5. Sharing your information

We share personal data only where needed for the purposes in this notice: within the MOAR group, with trusted service providers who host our website and support our email, analytics, communications and recruitment, with authorities where the law requires it, and with a successor entity in the event of a merger or restructuring. Our service providers act on our instructions and must protect your data.

MOAR is based in India, and our service providers may process data in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. Where the law requires safeguards for these transfers, we use recognized ones, such as standard contractual clauses.

6. Retention and security

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law. Typically, we keep:

  • newsletter subscriber data until you unsubscribe, or for 24 months with no opens or clicks;
  • case study downloads and lead data for 24 months from our last interaction;
  • contact form enquiries for 24 months, or for the length of any engagement plus any period the law requires;
  • job applications for 12 months, unless you are hired;
  • website analytics data for 14 months;
  • consent records and logs for as long as we keep the related data, plus at least 1 year.

Client, vendor and employee records are kept for the length of the relationship and any period the law requires afterwards. We then delete or anonymize the data. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect it. No system is completely secure, but if a personal data breach occurs, we will act promptly to contain it and notify affected persons and authorities where required by law.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict how we use it (including for direct marketing), to opt out of any sale or use for targeted advertising (we do neither), and to withdraw your consent at any time. To use these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live. To stop receiving our emails, use the unsubscribe link in any of them.
